We have built relationships within the field over many years. From independent neuropsychological evaluators to tutors, executive functioning coaches, mental health professionals, occupational, physical and speech-language therapists, Applied Behavioral Analysis ("ABA") providers, schools and other faciilties, we can be a resource for you.
Of course, in many circumstances we can help you obtain these services, including an Independent Education Evaluation ("IEE"), at public expense, through the right channels.

Special education meetings can be stressful, overwhelming and full of jargon and abbreviations that are difficult to follow. They are often attended by multiple educators and administrators and the power dynamic between the school and the parent can feel out of balance. Under the IDEA, the Parent has a right to meaningfully participate in the development of their child’s Individual Education Program ("IEP"), and too often, IEP teams are either unwilling or unable to consider or respond to the input the Parent offers. We counsel parents to make them aware of their rights and also the obligations of the school district at these crucial meetings. We can prepare you to advocate for your child or accompany you to a meeting if you require.
In the event your matter cannot be resolved directly with the school through a meeting, we will represent you though mediation, state complaint or due process complaint (and sometimes a combination of the above). If necessary, we are prepared to appeal your matter to state or federal district court.
